Food and water

Hogs feed in crop fields and wallow near water. Look for rooting, wallows and rubs.

Timing

Hogs are most active early, late and at night, especially in hot weather.

Javelina

For javelina, glass hillsides in the morning sun and stalk close. Their eyesight is poor, but their nose is sharp.
